Rachel Christensen, FNP

Trained at one of the top nursing schools in the nation, Rachel acquired her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Azusa Pacific University. For nearly 5 years, she has provided nursing care to patients at Pomona Valley Hospital, an ANCC Magnet Designated level II trauma center that serves the L.A. and San Bernardino counties.

She had the pleasure of interacting with ReNovi patients when she interned with the ReNovi Center in the Spring of 2024, and she was overjoyed to join the team in the Summer of 2024. She provides many of the primary care services at ReNovi, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illness as well as coaching patients in diet/nutrition.

You might cross paths with Rachel as she is walking in her neighborhood while listening to a podcast on medical research, hiking in the foothills, or shopping at the local Aldi grocery store hunting for the ingredients for her next creative, easy, and healthy meal. A lifelong learner, Rachel genuinely enjoys furthering her education, and she is always on the hunt for new research on a vast array of health-related topics. One of her favorite things is hosting her life group where she facilitates deep and lasting relationships. Passionate about community building and the support and growth uniquely found in a group setting, she has guided groups of patients virtually through ReNovi’s VitalMatch Detox program. One key motivator of Rachel’s life is the desire to nurture health (including physical/emotional/psychosocial/spiritual aspects of health) in the lives of those around her.
