Rachel Christensen, FNP

Rachel Christensen is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University, one of the nation’s premier nursing institutions. She began her nursing career at Pomona Valley Hospital, an ANCC Magnet Designated Level II trauma center, where she provided exceptional care to patients in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties for several years.

Rachel’s dedication to healthcare began early, with a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health from Azusa Pacific University. This foundational education in the social and life sciences sparked a deep curiosity about holistic wellness, which she refined while working with a chiropractic team in the South Bay before transitioning to advanced nursing.

Rachel provides comprehensive integrative  primary care at ReNovi, diagnosing and treating a spectrum of acute and chronic conditions. Her areas of focus include: women’s health and metabolic wellness, particularly in addressing complex issues such as PMS, perimenopause, PCOS, insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome. She guides patients through ReNovi’s VitalMatch Detox program with expertise, enthusiasm, and practical advice.  An advocate for empowering patients, she brings compassionate care to her work.

With a commitment to lifelong learning, Rachel is pursuing advanced training through the Institute for Functional Medicine while remaining immersed in cutting-edge medical research. Beyond clinical practice, she has facilitated community-building life groups that promote deep, lasting relationships.

Rachel balances her professional pursuits with personal passions, whether hiking the foothills, experimenting with healthy recipes, or enjoying a thought-provoking podcast. Her holistic approach to health—encompassing physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being—drives her mission to positively impact the lives of those around her.
